We woke up bright and early, and we did not take our bath because it’s freezing cold. It’s only 6 am, and as you can see from the pic below, it’s quite bright, looks like 7 or 8am in Penang. We get ready, prepare our stuff, and went to have our breakfast before starting off our journey.

Mesilau Resort

This is our group photo before we started off climbing the long hours hike of Mount KK. We started our climb from Mesilau Gate, which is 2km more than starting off from Timpohon Gate.

On Day 2, we visited few places in Sabah. Our first stop is Pekan Nabalu, a place with a beautiful view of the Mount Kinabalu. We took few photos there, and this is the stop where Eric dropped his DSLR and his camera broke! His camera is broken before we climb the Mount KK!!! Aww………….

Next, we went to Kinabalu Park, where our guide explained to us a brief history of Sabah.
