You are thinking of Meiji chocolate, aren’t you? But no, it’s not the chocolate.

Meiji Shrine or Meiji Jingu Shrine is located in Shibuya, Tokyo. Meiji Shrine is a Shinto shrine that is dedicated to the deified spirits of Emperor Meiji and his wife, Empress Shōken. After the death of Emperor Meiji in 1912 and Empress Shōken in 1914, the Japanese people wished to pay their respects to the two influential Japanese figures and therefore Meiji Shrine was constructed on November 1, 1920.

Tsukiji fish market is known as the biggest wholesale fish and seafood market in the world, located at the central of Tokyo. A short walk down from Tsukiji Station, there’s a street of small shops selling dried products, noodle stalls, and finger food. However, they are not very friendly for tourists to take photos. One of the stall owner shouted at me in Japanese when I aim to shoot photo at him.

However, in the Tsukiji Fish Market, the people are friendly, and it is really an eye opener for me to be in the huge market as this.

Digital Wall Clock in Tokyo

At the back edge of Roppongi Hills is a large back-lit wall with several huge digital numbers. I thought at first it was a clock but there was no pattern that I could see and the numbers changed too frequently. I believe that it is some sort of modern art.
I was with two friends and didn’t have much time to dally but now I wish I had experimented with this unusual backdrop a little more.

Down the street of Roppongi Hills is a huge wall with several huge digital numbers, known as digital clock in Tokyo. However the numbers on the wall changed frequently that it doesn’t seem to be a clock to me. The night was pretty late and just took few shots before heading back to our hotel.
